FISHING
Ireland is a Mecca for fishing enthusiasts. There are several reasons why the Clonmoylan cottages are perfectly suited for a fishing holiday. Clonmoylan is situated right on the shores of Lough Derg, one of Ireland’s largest lakes, famous for an abundance of fish.
Each cottage has its own fishing boat (additional charge for motor) and jetty. Fishermen are also free to use the fishing house, which is specifically equipped to wash, gut and freeze/store your freshly caught fish.
Equipment and accessories can be purchased in several shops specializing in fishing equipment in Portumna, 10 minutes by car from Clonmoylan.
